Similar to "join," this command will throw you into battle with another PC or NPC.
From "help assist:"
Assist: Usage: assist <pc/npc name> Assist will allow you to join a fellow adventurer in battle. Assist is very useful for helping members of your group. Remember though, if the person you assisted flees, you will still be in the battle.
