[[Inscriptions]] can be powerful tools used to enhance a player's skills and spells. Each player has a certain number they can learn, however, and it's based on a player's size, or [[rank]].

Inscription points:

The number of [[inscriptions]] and [[ciphers]] you can learn is
limited by your total inscription points. The number of
inscription points you possess is based on your overall
player rank (see 'help [[player rank]]'), as shown:

All ciphers cost 1 inscription point per [[cipher tier|tier]].

Inscriptions cost 2 inscription points, if the ability
being inscribed does not already have other [[aura]]s linked
to it. Inscribing a single [[ability]] with multiple auras
increases the cost by 1 each time.
