In-game, a "home" refers to a safe room which a PC can recall to.

Noting that any safe room can be set as a player's home, there are several areas which players use as their home more often than others, though:

  • Ruushi - the Temple of Ruushi is a popular spot to home. It's also very accessible as anywhere in the world, at any time, the command home reset can be used to re-set the home from wherever it is back to the Temple. This was originally implemented to prevent a character from being permanently stuck in some place.
  • Aur-Vindi - Joline, the trainer, offers access to nearby areas such as Fens, Paragon, Maglor Elensar, and Penumbra, as well as the Crafting Guild, and scrounger gnomes.
  • Chapparral Outpost - Jennifer, the trainer, in the middle of the Outpost offers services close to areas such as Bule and WLC.
  • Illurien - Nen, the trainer, in the middle of the Illurien, offers services for nearby areas, like Cirque, Amras, and Kazbek, among others.
  • Clan Halls - some clans have a clan hall, trainers, gnomes, and other amenities, and usually being placed near areas of interest, are advantageous.
