Crafting refers to using found items in game, like mob drops or other items, and combine them into other items and equipment. Over Nodeka's history, there have been three distinct "systems."
Revision Overview[edit]
This was the first iteration of crafting Whim developed for the game. Erasmus controlled much of this system. (NOTE: the author of this page doesn't know much, please add details and create the page at the red link.)
When someone says "crafting," they are most likely talking about the "Crafting 2.0" system. The Artisan's Guild in Aur-Vindi was added in "Update 9/3/2007," which introduced the new crafting mobs and < salvage > into the game.
Sometimes referred to as "commemorative gear" or "festival crafting," Whim was developing a crafting overhaul for game balance, equipment diversification, and specialization. This was only partially implemented, and traces can be seen using the crafting score
command.
