Asave

While you don't have to save your character, a builder does have to save the area they're working on.

Area Save:

Usage: asave
Usage: areasave

Area save is one of the most important commands for builders to use. This 
command saves whatever changes you have made to an area you are building. 
When you do not area save, any changes you have made to an area will be lost 
in the event of a reboot or crash. Always remember to save your area 
frequently while building, so you don t [sic] accidentally lose any changes you 
have made.
