"Augment Limit," also known more simply as "augment" or "augmenting," is the process in which a player can progress past the remortal tiers and grow well beyond the base limits.
From "augment limit:"
Augment limit: Usage: augment limit (lists options) Usage: augment limit <statistic name to decrement> Augment limit decreases a chosen statistic of a master-player (a player with 300s or better in all statistics) in return for an increased limit on a number of capped areas. In addition, there is a sun stone charge to perform this service which is incremented by 1 for each 10 augments. This includes a cumulative sun stone cost increase when you ascend through the three tiers. The sun stone cost is as follows: Augment (tier 1): base sun stone cost 1 + (aug # / 10) Ascend (tier 2): base sun stone cost 7 + (lgd # / 10) Legend (tier 3): base sun stone cost 14 + (asc # / 10) Tier 1: ( aug-# ) --> ( ascend ) Tier 2: --> ( asc-# ) --> ( legend ) Tier 3: --> ( lgd-# ) --> ( demigod ) Augments grant the user with the following: increased inventory cap: level + 1st (aug): # of times augmented + 2nd (demi): # of times augmented + 3rd (asc): # of times augmented increased pool cap: 50,000 + 1st (aug): # of times augmented * 150 + 2nd (demi): # of times augmented * 125 + 3rd (asc): # of times augmented * 100 increased experience cap: exp max + 1st (aug): # of times augmented * 1,000 + 2nd (demi): # of times augmented * 500 + 3rd (asc): # of times augmented * 333 increased stat cap: 320 + (# of times augmented / 10) increased skill/spell % cap: 392% + (# of times augmented) increased regen %: pool regen rate + 1% (if 1st (aug) max augment reached) + 1% (if 2nd (demi) max augment reached) + 1% (if 3rd (asc) max augment reached) Note: training stats over 300 requires a sun stone usage. To see the amount which you must decrease a statistic in order to perform an augment limit, type: augment limit. Note: for players with over 300 in a statistic from using stones, the sun stones are returned to the player and the statistics are removed. For example, if a player has 317 dexterity and augments, 17 sun stones are returned to the player and 17 points of dexterity are lost PLUS the amount augmenting takes.
