Kedoeji
"Often mistaken for elves, the graceful Kedoeji have always denied any ties to the kingdom of the Highborn. Lean and often orange or red-haired, the Kedoeji are invariably born with eyes of pure white, devoid of any visible iris or pupil. As the being ages, a faint green region tends to form over time within the eye, giving elder Kedoeji an appearance much more likely to be mistaken for that of a human or elf.
The Kedoeji have strong ties to the cycle of night and day, drawing their strength from the Nodekian suns. They tend to survive on very little sleep, needing no more than an hour a night or so, but many rest longer as the evening hours make most kedoeji very uncomfortable. Their sun-magic grants them a number of talents, allowing them to strike with piercing attacks and fiery spells which can penetrate even very thick armor, and to view a faint glow around invisible and hidden creatures which reveals their location to the Kedoeji. In addition, these beings of the day have the ability to store solar energy within themselves, periodically unleashing it in small bursts which quicken their movement and allow them to move through time more rapidly than most."
