Black Drake

"Closely related to the dragon of legend and lore, the drakes are a vicious combination of the reptilian and the humanoid.

Somewhat smaller than their Red and Blue counterparts, the Black Drake is somewhat of an anomaly. While it is still draconian in shape and form, possessing the requisite scales, claws, wings, and teeth, its style is distinctly different. The Black Drake is angular where the traditional dragon is curved, and sleek enough that its scales can only be distinguished up close; its wings are thin and dangerous-looking, almost resembling a pair of lances more than anything else. Their sleek form grants the Black Drake a swiftness and an agility that their larger brethren lack; while little is known of the Black Drake's physiology, they have been observed to possess remarkable powers of healing and camouflage.

The Black Drake's sleek scales are electrically charged, inflicting electric shocks to those who strike it in melee and imbuing their own melee attacks with the element of lightning. As with the other Drakes, their wings serve both as tools of flight and as combat advantages; the Black Drake also possesses an innate invulnerability to lightning. They seem to fear attacks based on the elemental element of earth, although these are rather rare.

Few races can match the offensive breadth of the Shadow Derkhestai, as they fight with an unparalleled ferocity that grants them a variety of racial attacks."
